Matthew A. Egeli has been a partner at Hartman and Egeli, LLP since 1993. His legal work includes the representation of regional banks and local businesses. As a business owner himself, Mr. Egeli understands the importance of solid advice and representation when confronted with the varying and numerous challenges facing today’s business owners.
Mr. Egeli’s representation of businesses has included: contract negotiation and preparation, planning for family business succession, litigation, representing client’s interests in bankruptcy proceedings, representing clients before regulatory agencies, purchase and sale agreements, and business reorganizations.
While Mr. Egeli has a strong focus on business law and litigation, he also frequently assists individuals with their estate planning and administration needs. Mr. Egeli walks his clients through the preparation of a Will, Trust, Advance Health Care Directive (Living Will), and/or Power of Attorney, fully explaining each document. He is also experienced at handling disputes which sometimes arise between heirs after the passing of a loved one.
Mr. Egeli is also a strong advocate for responsible gun ownership and can assist law abiding citizens who are trying to navigate the complex rules surrounding the right to keep and bear arms.
